CLAIRE AQUILINA (Handmaiden) is in 7th grade at Patterson Mill Middle School. This is Claire’s 2nd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Cinderella Youth Edition as the clumsy maiden. With Abingdon Community Theatre she has performed in Matilda as an ensemble member, Annie Kids as Tessie, The Lion King Jr. as a lioness, and Mary Poppins as an ensemble member. She was also a pirate in Peter Pan Jr. with Theatreworks Live. Thank you to my family for supporting me.
SAVI BAKER (Elsa) is in 8th grade at Fallston Middle School. This is Savi’s 4th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Lion King Jr. as a lioness, Rock of Ages Youth Edition as waitress #3, and Aladdin Jr. as an ensemble member. Savi has been in several shows with other theatre companies, including Annie Jr., Mary Poppins Jr., Charlotte’s Web, and The Aristocats Kids with Abingdon Community Theatre and Rapunzel, The Addams Family, Hocus Pocus, Finding Nemo Jr. and Encanto with Streetlamp Productions. Thank you to my mom and dad for always supporting me along the way and giving me the opportunity to pursue my love for theater. Thank you to my sister for always being my biggest fan.
MADELYN BELBOT (Middle Elsa) is in 8th grade at St. Stephen Catholic School. This is Madelyn’s 5th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Aladdin Jr. as a guard, The Music Man Jr. as a salesman, Sister Act Jr. as a member of the tech crew, and Cinderella Youth Edition as an ensemble member. Thank you to my Aunt Erika for always encouraging me and for being my number one supporter in theatre. Thank you to my parents for making the long drive to practice and for all your loving support. LILIAN BOHLMAN (Queen Iduna) is in 8th grade as a homeschool student. This is Lilian’s 5th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as the constable, Sister Act Jr. as Sister Mary Theresa, Cinderella Youth Edition as the talkative maiden, and Xanadu Jr. as an ensemble member. With Harford Music and Arts, she played Sally in A Charlie Brown Christmas, Goosy Loosey in The Stinky Cheese Man, Beth in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Doctor Mercury in Doctor Mercury and the Time Machine, and a playing card in Alice in Wonderland. Thank you to my parents for supporting me, my sister for being there for me, and all the friends I have made at Starlight for always being there for me.
CARLEE BURCHAM (Bishop) is in 6th grade at North Harford Middle School. This is Carlee’s 2nd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Cinderella Youth Edition as the dessert chef. Thank you to my mom, dad, and Cash for listening to me rehearse at home.
JENNA CERNY (Bulda) is in 8th grade at Southampton Middle School. This is Jenna’s 8th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Lion King Jr., Rock of Ages Youth Edition, Aladdin Jr., The Music Man Jr., and Xanadu Jr. as an ensemble member, Sister Act Jr. as an altar boy, and Cinderella Youth Edition as the never danced before maiden. Elsewhere, she played Martha in High School Musical Jr. at Southampton Middle School and Mrs. Heron in Mean Girls Jr. at Abingdon Community Theatre. Thank you to everyone who drove me to and from Starlight. Thank you to my family for always supporting my love of theater. KADENCE CUFF (Sven) is in 8th grade at North Harford Middle School. This is Kadence’s 8th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Lion King Jr., Rock of Ages Youth Edition, Aladdin Jr. and The Music Man Jr. as an ensemble member, Sister Act Jr. as both Tina and a nun, Cinderella Youth Edition as the shy maiden, and Xanadu Jr. as a siren. Thank you to my mother and father for driving me back and forth to Starlight. A big thank you to my little sister, Ailee, for being my biggest support.
BRENNA DEKOWSKI (Housekeeper) is in 8th grade at Rising Sun Middle School. This is Brenna’s 1st show with Starlight Theatricals. She has performed in several shows with Streetlamp Productions including Newsies as Wiesel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as Phineous Trout and The Addams Family as an ancestor. Thank you to my mom for helping me rehearse my lines and for coming to all my shows.

PRESTON HAIRE (King Agnarr/Kristoff) is in 6th grade at Harford Christian School. This is Preston’s 1st show with Starlight Theatricals. Elsewhere, he was in the ensemble for both Tarzan with Phoenix Theatre Festival and Oliver with Tidewater Players. COOPER HOAGLAND (Prince Hans) is in 8th grade at Southampton Middle School. This is Cooper’s 11th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Beauty and the Beast Jr. as Gaston, The Lion King Jr. as an ensemble member, Rock of Ages Youth Edition as Stacee Jaxx, Aladdin Jr. as Babkak, The Music Man Jr. as Tommy Djilas, Sister Act Jr. as Monsignor O’Hara, Titanic The Musical as 1st Officer Murdoch, Cinderella Youth Edition as Prince Christopher, Xanadu Jr. as Danny Maguire, and Les Miserables School Edition as Courfeyrac. With Abingdon Community Theatre, Cooper has played Charlie in Willy Wonka Kids, Sven in Frozen Jr., and Chief Tui in Moana Jr. He has also performed in Matilda Jr. as Eric and in both Newsies Jr. and Aladdin Jr. as an ensemble member. BRENNA HOVATTER (Anna) is in 8th grade at Southampton Middle School. This is Brenna’s 5th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as a townsperson, Sister Act Jr. as Michelle and a nun, Cinderella Youth Edition as Joy, and Xanadu Jr. as Terpsichore. Elsewhere, she played Susan in High School Musical Jr., the Stage Manager in The Show Must Go On, and an ensemble member in Annie Jr. Thank you to all our amazing staff. This is Madison’s 10th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Beauty and the Beast Jr. as a Silly Girl, both The Lion King Jr. and Aladdin Jr. as a member of the tech crew, both Rock of Ages Youth Edition and Annie Get Your Gun as an ensemble member, The Music Man Jr. as Mrs. Squires, Sister Act Jr. as Ernie and an altar boy, Cinderella Youth Edition as Queen Constantina, and Xanadu Jr. as a siren. Elsewhere, she was an ensemble member in Legally Blonde Jr. and Mean Girls Jr. with Abingdon Community Theatre, an ensemble member in SpongeBob SquarePants with Tidewater Players, and an ensemble member in Newsies, Karen in SpongeBob SquarePants, and an ancestor in The Addams Family with Streetlamp Productions. HAILEY KITTREDGE (Butler) is in 7th grade at Trinity Lutheran Christian School. This is Hailey’s 2nd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Xanadu Jr. as Medusa.
HAILEY KREH (Middle Anna) is in 6th grade at Bel Air Middle School. This is Hailey’s 1st show with Starlight Theatricals. She has been in multiple shows with Abingdon Community Theatre including Aladdin Jr. as Iago, The Lion King Jr. as Bonzaii, Matilda as Amanda, and Annie Jr. as Rooster. A huge thank you to all my family and friends who support me, encourage me and love me for who I am.
PENNY MERRITT (Young Anna) is in 6th grade at St. Stephen School. This is Penny’s 3rd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Cinderella Youth Edition as the kid sister and Xanadu Jr. as Polyhymnia. At St. Stephen School she was Young Nala in The Lion King Jr. Thank you to my parents, friends, and directors for helping me and encouraging be throughout this amazing experience.
ANDREW PAQUIN (Tech Crew) is in 7th grade at Patterson Mill Middle School. This is Andrew’s 4th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as Oliver Hix and serving on the tech crew for Cinderella Youth Edition and Xanadu Jr. With Abingdon Community Theatre, he played Grandpa George in Willy Wonka Kids and Right Claw in Moana Jr. Last spring, he was on the tech crew for Shrek Jr. at Patterson Mill Middle School. Thank you to my parents for always supporting me in everything I do.
HENRY PREISINGER (Tech Crew) is in 7th grade as a homeschool student. This is Henry’s 1st show with Starlight Theatricals. Thank you to my family and friends who are always there for me.
EVA ROBERTS (Olaf) is in 8th grade at Trinity Lutheran Christian School. This is Eva’s 5th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as a townsperson, Sister Act Jr. as Sister Mary Irene, Cinderella Youth Edition as the Stepmother, and Xanadu Jr. as Urania. At Trinity Lutheran she was in High School Musical Jr. as Ms. Darbus and The Little Mermaid Jr. as Ursula. Thank you to my family for all they have done for me and to Starlight for making this experience so much fun. I am grateful for the cast and crew.
GARRETT SCARFF (Weselton) is in 6th grade at North Harford Middle School. This is Garrett’s 3rd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as Olin Britt and Xanadu Jr. as Zeus. Thank you to Mr. Ben, Mr. Chuck, Bailey, and Mary Kate for all your help. Thank you to everyone in the Starlight family for being so friendly and kind.
DAISY SETHI (Young Elsa) is in 6th grade at Bel Air Middle School. This is Mary Kate’s 15th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Beauty and the Beast Jr. as Lefou, The Lion King Jr. as Zazu, Rock of Ages Youth Edition as Sherrie, Annie Get Your Gun as an ensemble member, Aladdin Jr. as Isir, Young Frankenstein as an ensemble member, The Music Man Jr. as Zaneeta, Sister Act Jr. as Mother Superior, Mary Poppins as Miss Lark, And Then There Were None as Ethel Rogers, Titanic The Musical as Caroline Neville, and Les Miserables School Edition as Eponine. In addition to performing on stage at Starlight, she has been a production assistant for Cinderella Youth Edition and Xanadu Jr. Elsewhere, she played JoJo in Seussical Jr. and Matilda in Matilda Jr. at Bel Air Middle School and Jane in Mary Poppins Jr. at The John Carroll Performing Arts Camp.
MICHAEL DI LEONARDI (Production Assistant) is a student at Harford Community College. This is Michael’s 9th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Jekyll and Hyde as General Lord Glossop, Young Frankenstein as the monster, Mary Poppins as Admiral Boom, And Then There Were None as William Blore, Titanic The Musical as J. Bruce Ismay, and Les Miserables School Edition as Javert. In addition to performing on stage at Starlight, he has been a production assistant for Cinderella Youth Edition and Xanadu Jr.
BAILEY HETZER (Production Assistant) is in 12th grade at Bel Air High School. This is Bailey’s 15th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Little Shop of Horrors as Orin, Footloose as Chuck, Annie Get Your Gun as Charlie Davenport, The Play That Goes Wrong as Thomas Colleymoore, Jekyll and Hyde as the Bishop of Basingstoke, Young Frankenstein as Igor, Mary Poppins as Neleus, Titanic The Musical as Thomas Andrews, and Les Miserables School Edition as Marius. In addition to performing on stage at Starlight, he has been a production assistant for Aladdin Jr., The Music Man Jr., Sister Act Jr., Cinderella Youth Edition and Xanadu Jr. At Bel Air High School, he was on the tech crew for Elf, the Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher, The Wizard of Oz, and Guys and Dolls. Other roles Bailey has performed are Lord Farquaad in Shrek Jr., Skipper in Madagascar Jr., Mr. Bucket in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mr. Mayor in Seussical Jr., and Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde Jr.
VIVIANA SETHI (Production Assistant) is in 9th grade at Bel Air High School. This is Viviana’s 6th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Rock of Ages Youth Edition and Aladdin Jr. as an ensemble member, The Music Man Jr. as Amaryllis, Xanadu Jr. as Thalia, and Les Miserables School Edition as Young Eponine. At Bel Air Middle School, she was an ensemble member in both Seussical Jr. and Matilda Jr.

SUZANNE BOWDEN (Associate Director) is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Visual Arts and Performing Arts. After graduation Suzanne worked in NYC at Joseph Papp's Public Theater, NY Shakespeare Festival at the Delacorte in Central Park, NY Theater Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, Lincoln Center Theater, and Richard Frankel Productions as part of their Stage Management Team. Suzanne was a member of Actor's Equity while in NY until moving to Maryland to work at Center Stage in Baltimore. For the past 20 years, Suzanne has been the Drama Director at Trinity Lutheran Christian School where she has been blessed to work in educational theater with young people.
Jasmine Mays-Robinson (Musical Director) is a vocalist and music educator from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Her music school, the Bel Air Arts Academy, fosters the talents of students of all ages with a focus on well-rounded musicianship that leads to tangible results. Students have seen success in auditioning for schools and productions of their choice, sharpening their skills for music exams, and putting together performances with confidence. Her studio hosts a thriving culture of dedicated young musicians who are prepared to take their musical aspirations head-on. Jasmine holds a Master of Music degree from the Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Maryland. As a lifelong musician and active performer, she has a passion for engaging with her community through music and has collaborated with many ensembles around the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore regions. Jasmine is a principal cantor at St. John the Evangelist Church in Long Green Valley, and a soloist with Sopranessence, a professional ensemble of vocalists specializing in song from classical to musical theatre and jazz styles.
Mayra Pappaterra (Backstage Manager) is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama with a minor in Languages and Corporal Movement. She was a member of the Rolling Theater of the University of PR, where she studied classical, experimental and contemporary theater. Mayra went to the Siglo de Oro Spanish Drama Festival Chamizal in El Paso, Texas. She worked giving theater workshops to High School students. Mayra did professional theater in Puerto Rico as a stage manager, assistant director, actress, as well as designing and running lights, and props. She worked for Cuarzo Blanco Inc., participated in the XIX Festival Internacional de Teatro de Oriente in Barcelona Pto. La Cruz, Venezuela with José Vega also known as Remi the Clown and designed the props for the play “Salvemos el Planeta con Remi”. She traveled the island participating in a play based on the TV show for kids “La casa de María Chuzema”. Since 2012 she has been the Production Stage Manager at Trinity Lutheran Christian School. Mayra is very excited to be a part of the Starlight Team and to bring her talents as the Back-Stage Manager. When she is not backstage Mayra works as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at the Anne Arundel County WIC program (Woman Infants and Children) coordinating The Breastfeeding/Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program.
CHUCK BOWDEN (Artistic Director / Technical Director) is the founder and managing partner of Starlight Theatricals. He is a faculty member at Bel Air High School where he has taught English, Drama, and Technology for the past 21 years. A graduate of West Virginia University with a BFA in Theatre and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a Masters in Education, Chuck worked with the theatre program at Bel Air High for over 25 years serving as the Artistic Director, Technical Director and Scenic Designer as well as performing in the pit band for the musicals since 1994. He is the co-founder of the North East Theatre Festival and has served as the Co-Executive Director for 12 years. Chuck is currently the Chair of the Harford County Cultural Arts Board, a founding member of the Scottfield Theatre Company and continues to work as a Technical Director and Designer for several community theatres around the region.
BENJAMIN SMITH (Artistic Director / Choreographer) is the founder and managing partner of Starlight Theatricals. He is a faculty member at Bel Air High School teaching Government and Economics for the past 22 years. Prior, he taught Social Studies at Chariton High School in Chariton, Iowa. He is a graduate of Peru State College in Nebraska with a BA in Secondary Education and Towson University with a Masters in Education. For 24 years, Ben has been involved with high school theatre serving both as artistic director and choreographer for numerous productions. He is the co-founder of the North East Theatre Festival and has served as the Co-Executive Director for 12 years.
