RYAN AQUILINA (Harrison) is in 10th grade at Patteson Mill High School. This is Ryan’s 3rd show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Cinderella Youth Edition as the Herald and Grease as Eugene. With Abingdon Community Theatre he played the Sultan in Aladdin Jr. and Mufasa in The Lion King Jr. With Streetlamp Productions he played Morris in Newsies Jr. With TheatreWorks Live he was in the ensemble for Les Miserables School Edition. At Patterson Mill High School, he was an ensemble member in Mamma Mia and he played Mr. Berry in Radium Girls. Thank you to my parents for always pushing me to do my best in theatre. I have always appreciated that.

This is Siena’s 10th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Beauty and the Beast Jr. as Belle, both The Lion King Jr. and Young Frankenstein as an ensemble member, Aladdin Jr. as a member of the tech crew, The Music Man Jr. as Gracie, Mary Poppins as Jane Banks, Titanic as Kate Murphy, and Les Miserables School Edition and Grease as an ensemble member. Elsewhere, she played Marta in The Sound of Music and Young Cosette in Les Miserables with Streetlamp Productions, Molly in Annie and Susan Waverly in White Christmas with Scottfield Theatre Company, and Louisa in The Sound of Music at the John Carroll School. ALLISON BERGER (Velma Kelly) is in 12th grade at Patterson Mill High School. This is Allison’s 5th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Footloose as Rusty, And Then There Were None as Dr. Rogers, Les Miserables School Edition as an ensemble member, and Grease as Rizzo. At Patterson Mill High School she played Helena in A Midsummers Night Dream and Grace in Radium Girls. With Streetlamp Productions she played Karen in Mean Girls and Angie in The Prom. Most recently, she played Amber in The Suburban Players production of Hairspray. Thank you to my mom for her endless support in my theater journey, I love you so much! At Bel Air High School, she performed in Peter and the Starcatcher as Mack, The Wizard of Oz as an ensemble member, and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown as Peppermint Patty. She was also on the tech crew for Guys and Dolls and Puffs. Thank you to everyone for making Starlight a fun place. This makes me enjoy performing more.
RAEGAN DECKER (Mama Morton) is in 10th grade at Patterson Mill High School. Elsewhere, she played Jane Seymour in Six Teen Edition with the Abingdon Community Theatre, Regina George in Mean Girls with Harford Music and Arts, Elsa in Frozen with ArtBeat, Alyssa Greene in The Prom with Streetlamp Productions, and Katherine Howard in Six Teen Edition at Patterson Mill High School. CAIDENCE DELP (Juror One) is in 10th grade at C. Milton Wright High School. This is Caidence’s 1st show with Starlight Theatricals. At C. Milton Wright High School, she performed in 9 to 5 The Musical, The Play That Goes Wrong, and The Sound of Music. Thank you to my amazing friend, Gabi, for introducing me to Starlight. This is my first show with her and I am very excited.

ELLA GARCIA (Ensemble) is in 10th grade at C. Milton Wright High School. This is Ella’s 4th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Titanic as both Darlene and Pauline Thayer, Grease as an ensemble member, and Quiet Summer as Fredericka Collins. At Southampton Middle School she played Cyndra in High School Musical Jr. At the STAR Centre, she was in the ensemble for Mean Girls. At C. Milton Wright High School, she was on the tech crew for The Play That Goes Wrong and in the ensemble for The Sound of Music. With the Abingdon Community Theatre, she played Ms. Norbury in Mean Girls Jr., Rafiki in The Lion King Jr., Kassim in Aladdin Jr., Pilar in Legally Blonde Jr., Pua in Moana Jr., Violet in Willy Wonka Kids, and the Narrator in Into the Woods Jr. She was also part of the Oaken family in Frozen Jr. and was the Big Bad Wolf in Shrek Jr. at Patterson Mill Middle School. Last fall, she played Jane Harden in Patteson Mill High School’s production of Radium Girls. At Perry Hall High School she was on the tech crew for The Sound of Music, The Play That Goes Wrong, Rent, She Kills Monsters and The Addams Family. GRACYN ZEILER (Ensemble) is in 9th grade at C. Milton Wright High School. This is Gracyn’s 6th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in The Music Man Jr. as Alma Hix, Sister Act Jr. as TJ, both Xanadu Jr. and Les Miserables School Edition as an ensemble member, and Grease as Jan. MICHAEL DI LEONARDI (Production Assistant) is a student at Harford Community College. This is Michael’s 9th show with Starlight Theatricals having previously been in Jekyll and Hyde as General Lord Glossop, Young Frankenstein as the monster, Mary Poppins as Admiral Boom, And Then There Were None as William Blore, Titanic The Musical as J. Bruce Ismay, and Les Miserables School Edition as Javert. In addition to performing on stage at Starlight, he has been a production assistant for Cinderella Youth Edition and Xanadu Jr.

SUZANNE BOWDEN (Associate Director) is a graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Visual Arts and Performing Arts. After graduation Suzanne worked in NYC at Joseph Papp's Public Theater, NY Shakespeare Festival at the Delacorte in Central Park, NY Theater Workshop, Playwrights Horizons, Lincoln Center Theater, and Richard Frankel Productions as part of their Stage Management Team. Suzanne was a member of Actor's Equity while in NY until moving to Maryland to work at Center Stage in Baltimore. For the past 20 years, Suzanne has been the Drama Director at Trinity Lutheran Christian School where she has been blessed to work in educational theater with young people.
Jasmine Mays-Robinson (Musical Director) is a vocalist and music educator from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Her music school, the Bel Air Arts Academy, fosters the talents of students of all ages with a focus on well-rounded musicianship that leads to tangible results. Students have seen success in auditioning for schools and productions of their choice, sharpening their skills for music exams, and putting together performances with confidence. Her studio hosts a thriving culture of dedicated young musicians who are prepared to take their musical aspirations head-on. Jasmine holds a Master of Music degree from the Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Maryland. As a lifelong musician and active performer, she has a passion for engaging with her community through music and has collaborated with many ensembles around the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore regions. Jasmine is a principal cantor at St. John the Evangelist Church in Long Green Valley, and a soloist with Sopranessence, a professional ensemble of vocalists specializing in song from classical to musical theatre and jazz styles.
Mayra Pappaterra (Backstage Manager) is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s degree in Drama with a minor in Languages and Corporal Movement. She was a member of the Rolling Theater of the University of PR, where she studied classical, experimental and contemporary theater. Mayra went to the Siglo de Oro Spanish Drama Festival Chamizal in El Paso, Texas. She worked giving theater workshops to High School students. Mayra did professional theater in Puerto Rico as a stage manager, assistant director, actress, as well as designing and running lights, and props. She worked for Cuarzo Blanco Inc., participated in the XIX Festival Internacional de Teatro de Oriente in Barcelona Pto. La Cruz, Venezuela with José Vega also known as Remi the Clown and designed the props for the play “Salvemos el Planeta con Remi”. She traveled the island participating in a play based on the TV show for kids “La casa de María Chuzema”. Since 2012 she has been the Production Stage Manager at Trinity Lutheran Christian School. Mayra is very excited to be a part of the Starlight Team and to bring her talents as the Back-Stage Manager. When she is not backstage Mayra works as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant at the Anne Arundel County WIC program (Woman Infants and Children) coordinating The Breastfeeding/Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program.
CHUCK BOWDEN (Artistic Director / Technical Director) is the founder and managing partner of Starlight Theatricals. He is a faculty member at Bel Air High School where he has taught English, Drama, and Technology for the past 21 years. A graduate of West Virginia University with a BFA in Theatre and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a Masters in Education, Chuck worked with the theatre program at Bel Air High for over 25 years serving as the Artistic Director, Technical Director and Scenic Designer as well as performing in the pit band for the musicals since 1994. He is the co-founder of the North East Theatre Festival and has served as the Co-Executive Director for 12 years. Chuck is currently the Chair of the Harford County Cultural Arts Board, a founding member of the Scottfield Theatre Company and continues to work as a Technical Director and Designer for several community theatres around the region.
BENJAMIN SMITH (Artistic Director / Choreographer) is the founder and managing partner of Starlight Theatricals. He is a faculty member at Bel Air High School teaching Government and Economics for the past 22 years. Prior, he taught Social Studies at Chariton High School in Chariton, Iowa. He is a graduate of Peru State College in Nebraska with a BA in Secondary Education and Towson University with a Masters in Education. For 24 years, Ben has been involved with high school theatre serving both as artistic director and choreographer for numerous productions. He is the co-founder of the North East Theatre Festival and has served as the Co-Executive Director for 12 years.
