Course Description

Participants will examine various areas of stage technology including scenic construction,

costuming and sound / lighting equipment.

This class meets once a week on Saturday mornings for 9 weeks beginning January 29th 2022.

                                 Week One:       Introduction to Technical Theatre

                                 Week Two:       Stage Properties

                                 Week Three:   Stage Make-Up

                                 Week Four:     Sound and Lights

                                 Week Five:      Stage / House Management

                                 Week Six:          Scenic Design and Construction

                                 Week Seven:  Showcase Tech Project

                                 Week Eight:     Showcase Tech Project

                                 Week Nine:      Showcase Performance

        The course will culminate in a Showcase Performance highlighting the work

students have done throughout the class.
